About Our Facility

Purchased in 2007 by Penny and Richard Weiss, River Sage Stables began boarding in 2008.  We are a full service horse boarding facility offering a variety of stabling options.  One of the many advantages of keeping your horses at River Sage Stables is the experienced team of equine professionals who continually monitor the horses' wellbeing.  Additionally, we pride ourselves on our welcoming atmosphere, hosting horse events and clinics throughout the year as well as private events and other community activities.  All skill levels and a western way of life are represented here.  Contact us for a tour.  We'd love to show you around!

 

Amenities 

Indoor Arena

A fully enclosed 18,000 square foot indoor arena with lights, fans and heaters is available year round.  A full kitchen is also on site for your events and activities requiring food preparation.

Outdoor Arena

A 25,000 square foot outdoor arena with sand footing is available all year as weather permits.

 
 

Boarding Options

12 x 24 Barn Stalls - There are 6 enclosed barn stalls available with automatic waterers.

12 x 24 Barn Stalls with Runs - There are 6 enclosed barn stalls available with automatic waterers and an attached outdoor sand run.

Outdoor Paddocks with Sheds - These paddocks are suitable for one or two horses and have automatic waterers and a 3 or 4 sided shed.

Large Paddocks with Sheds - These paddocks are suitable for multiple horses and have automatic waterers and 3 sided sheds.

Horses are fed grass or grass/alfalfa hay twice a day and daily feeding of grain or supplements is available if pre-packaged by the owner.  All stalls and paddocks are cleaned daily.

 

Other Amenities

Other amenities include multiple wash rack areas with hot and cold water, heated restroom, several tack rooms, and a washer and dryer for boarders' use.

Barrels, pole bending poles, a Heel-O-Matic, and other props are available in both the indoor and outdoor arenas.  A cutting arena with a flag and a trail obstacle course are available for use during the summer months.

Cattle are kept at the ranch during the summer for western events and lessons requiring cattle.

A smaller arena, two round pens, and a track around the property are also available.
